Elite Academy programme

The Elite Academy Programme is a fantastic opportunity for a group of players with likeminded goals to work together and push themselves in readiness for the 2022 season and beyond.  It will be the one of the best development centres for young cricketers in the county.

Date/Time:

January: 15, 22, 29

February: 5, 12, 19, 26
March: 5, 12, 19

Saturday: 1-4pm

Where: 

At a Hutch Cricket indoor centre in Leeds.  Final details to be provided in due course.

All of the players who successfully progress through the trial phase will be invited to join the programme.  

They will each receive a special Elite Academy Programme  training kit to distinguish them from other players before embarking on 30 hours of high intensity, high calibre coaching spanning 10 weeks.

A combination of net practice, game scenarios, fielding and strength & conditioning work will be provided. Specialist insight from our coaches who will be talking about specific match situations, the art of captaincy and many more topics that will help prepare you for the season.

 Hutch Cricket have secured a number of elite coaches to work with the players , including Ajmal Shahzad, James Middlebrook, Gavin Hamilton and myself which makes the Elite Academy Programme truly unique and the best possible learning centre for young cricketers. Additional specialist coaches will also be popping in on occasions to add their experience to the programme.

Players who successfully complete the Programme will have the opportunity to try out for the Elite Camp which will directly follow the Elite Academy Programme.

The Elite Cricket Camp will include 21 hours of advanced training with matches at New Farnley CC against teams of a similar standard.

Places will be based on an invitational basis, and more details will be made available during the programme
