Lead batting coach for Hutch Cricket over the past 5 years. Steve has helped hundreds of young players improve their game.

Steve makes the player think deeper about their game, through improved technique and mindset. 

Wicket keeping coaching is also a strong suit for Steve who previously played for Wiltshire CCC as W/K Batter (& Capt). 

Steve's own career continues, playing Premier League cricket for New Farnley CC. Having scored over 13,000 1st XI runs he continues to be one of the best batters in the area.

A batting coach who works with players of all abilities and backgrounds. Having moved up from 'Down South' Danyaal is available to help improve your all round game.

After working his way through the Middlesex CCC pathway system Danyaal made the transition to becoming a coach. With experience coaching in New Zealand and multiple coaching companies Danyaal is an ideal coach for someone looking to improve quickly.

Lesroy is an ex professional player having played for Yorkshire CCC & Northants CCC and West Indies 'A'. A strong all rounder who bowled extremely quickly!!!

Still actively playing Lesroy was part of the winning team for Yorkshire 50+ 2XI in the ECB County Championship Final in 2025.

Former Head of Cricket at Mount St Mary's for 13 years. ECB Advance Level 3 coach who specialises in pace and spin mechanics and variations.

Lesroy is also highly regarded S&C coach so will make sure you get in shape for the coming season

Alex is a former Yorkshire CCC all rounder who is currently Captain of the all conquering New Farnley CC.

Alex is a genuine all rounder, batting 3 and taking the new ball, his left arm swing is deadly and makes him one of the best league players in the country.

Alex has been coaching for 10+ years and is highly passionate about player development.

Ryan is a fabulous all round cricketer. Another genuine all rounder, Ryan is a middle order batter and highly skilful off spinner. His 2025 stats of 1100+ league runs at 74 plus 36 wickets at 20 is a strong reason New Farnley CC team won many trophies and became T20 National Champions. Ryan is also considered to be one of the best fielders in the game.

In August 2025 the Bradford Premier League played Northern Superchargers in a Hundred warm up fixture, Ryan scored 73 from 42 balls against an attack which included Mohammed Amir, Matthew Potts, Tom Lawes, James Fuller, Pat Brown, Adil Rashid and Dan Lawrence.

A school teacher by trade, Ryan is well positioned to help young players develop and comes highly recommended.

Another Ex England International Ajmal is a long standing friend of Hutch Cricket having helped run our summer camps back in 2020/21.

Former Derbyshire CCC Assistant (Bowling) Coach, Ajmal has a vast knowledge of the game. Along with his roles with Trent Rockets (The Hundred) and Multan Sultans (PSL) Ajmal is well placed to help any young cricketer develop their skills.

Test capped Ajmal was also part of the squad who won the T20 World Cup in 2011 showcasing his abilities across all formats of the game.

Jimmy will be assisting Hutch Cricket with Masterclasses in the summer of 2026 when his commitments allow.

Jimmy is a fantastic coach who really understands the game on a deeper level to most. Jimmy assisted Paul Hutchison during their time in Jersey with Paul stating that he was the best mentor he'd ever had.

An elegant left handed batter who also bowled skilful left arm spin, Jimmy was easy on the eye and has a personality to match.
